Sally grew up in Greenwood but moved to Sarasota, Florida and lived on Siesta Key for over 15 years. Sally returned in 1999 to care for her ailing dad, Greenwood hunting icon and Custom Turkey Call Maker, Neil Cost. Referred to as the "Stradivarius of Turkey Call Makers" 

After a successful 25 year career as a Cosmetologist, specializing in color and cutting, Sally, always looking for new challenges, decided  to pursue a career in real estate she earned her real estate license in 2004."It fills my need for variety, allows me to use my creative nature, and presents new challenges and opportunities everyday, I love my work"!

 I learned marketing from my dad, who's custom hand made turkey calls are a brand known all over the world.  My business is very serious and the responsibilities are enormous. Purchasing and selling real estate are some of the biggest decisions people make in a lifetime. 

Hobbies & Activities

Interior Decorating I love my home and also love to find great bargains, re-purposing it my favorite way to decorate. I love old doors, wooden boxes, windows, baskets, rocks, tree limbs just about anything is fair game in my mind. my kids say I could make a home out of a cardboard box if it was necessary, I haven't had to test that but I bought  a 30 ft. camper, ripped everything out except the kitchen and bathroom and made it  into a mini home I even had a walk in closet any woman would love! I lived in it comfortably for a year on Lake Greenwood after I sold my home and was looking for another one. Word got around and I had people knocking on my door wanting to see what I had done with it. 

Staging homes falls right in line with my love for creativity.   If you are interested in buying real estate now or in the future you will most likely need a real agent. Who you choose to work with is a very important decision. Just as you choose other professionals who are trained to take care of your needs, doctors, attorneys, dentists and accountants, real estate professionals are trained to help you navigate the purchase of real estate.

 My clients tell me that they really appreciate the fact that I listen to them and I don't try to sell them anything. I helped them find just the right property for their needs and once we have located that property I've provided them with recent information on what other buyers have paid for properties like the one they are interested in purchasing and working with them to negotiate the best price and terms for them. Knowing other agents pricing strategies,how far above market value they tend to price their listings helps me to help you Researching their sales stats will tell me what the % of listed price to sold price average is. Putting this together with what the sold market shows, the condition of the home and what the trend in home values are within a 30 day time frame, will give an accurate picture of value. This not only tells where you should end up but where to start with your offer. When you're ready to sell and move on(and you probably will in approximately 5 years) I want to be the Realtor who puts it back on the market and helps you find a new home and if you paid too much for it I likely won't be the one who resells it!

My husband and I had been looking at property in the Lake Greenwood area for about four years. We would come visit the lake to stay at a rental property and see how we liked the area. After a year of that we contacted a realtor that just gave me a good feeling per a Google search. And that was Sally Morris.

For three years(!!!) Sally worked with us to find just the spot and property that was right for us. We would visit the Lake Greenwood area two or three times a year with a list of properties to view. And in between those visits I would email Sally perpetually with questions on various properties about location, lake depth in winter-time and the neighborhood. She advised us. She helped us and we now own this property on the lake. We are so pleased with Sally and the lake that we can still hardly believe that we live here now full time. Actually, we still feel like we are on vacation! How cool is that?
