I Would Rate Sally Morris At The Very Top of Real Estate Agents I've Worked With
Sally
Morris was the real estate agent for the sale of my parents' home after
they moved from Abbeville to Camden. From start to finish, she did an
outstanding job. At the very beginning, she was very sensitive to the
situation of my elderly parents giving up the home they had lived in for
nearly 50 years. She was very reassuring and patient as she explained
the whole process to them. Sally also demonstrated a high level of professionalism
in the way she marketed the house. She advertised it in the right
places and created a virtual tour that presented the house in a very
appealing way. Given the state of the market, it of course took a while
for a prospective buyer to surface. But throughout that period of
waiting, Sally was very positive and reassuring. And when it came time
to consider lowering the price, she presented a strong case for doing so
based on sales more recent than those we'd used to set the original
price. Once we had a prospective buyer, Sally really went well above the
call of duty in closing the sale. In fact, given that my parents and I
live some 3 hours from Abbeville, I don't know how we would have handled
the repairs required by the buyer had it not been for Sally. She took
complete charge of getting estimates and supervising the repairs.I've
bought and sold seven houses and two condominiums in New York City,
Baltimore and Camden. And I've worked with a number of real estate
agents.
Based on those experiences, I would rate Sally at the very top of the list.

Often it is because they were overpriced, but that isn't always the case, it may just not a property that attracted a lot of attention at the time but may be just what you're looking for but you won't know about them because they are not showing in the active real estate search results.

Agents often know about foreclosures that are coming on the market but aren't for sale yet, having a relationship
with an agent allows the agent to know your needs and can give you a heads up that a foreclosed property that just fits what you are looking for is coming on the market in the future and can keep an eye out for it and give you the advantage of early knowledge.
FSBO's
Not all for sale by owners or FSBOS's as they are often called, are advertised on the Internet and you may not
live locally so riding around and just running up on the perfect property for you is not an option. Partnering with
a real estate agent who will be your eyes and ears makes perfect sense, where else can you get such service and it costs you nothing but an agreement to work with one agent from start to finish. Most FSBO's will pay the Realtor's commission to bring them a qualified buyer. As a buyer you will have the security of knowing everything will be done accurately and your interests and rights are protected by a professional
who does this all the time.
Pocket Listings
These are real estate listings that agents know about,where the seller says I'm not advertising that I
have the property for sale but if you find someone who is looking for a home, land or business like mine I'll sell it. The public won't have access to this information without a relationship with an agent who is working on their behalf.
