Who can turn on the news anymore without hearing about homeowners losing their homes to foreclosure and what homeowner is not affected by foreclosure even when it is not their home.
Foreclosures are affecting all segments of society and spread their poison to the neighborhood and the community. But if there can be a worse circumstance it would be a home that has been foreclosed on standing vacant and deteriorating from neglect, possibly vandalized or inhabited by squatters. as sad as it is this has brought new opportunities for investment.
Bank owned properties and short sales are the properties that will dominate the marketplace in the next few years. Opening up opportunities for purchasing homes below market value for many buyers whether they are looking for investment properties or the ability to buy a home that may not have been in your price range in years past.
If you are interested in purchasing bank owned home it is a different type of transaction than when you are buying in a normal fair market transaction and using the right agent to help you through these types of transactions can mean the Referrals/Partners difference in how easily the transaction flows, how happy you are at the end of the process and how good of a deal you feel you ended up with.
Not everyone is the right buyer for a foreclosure. Are you?
